LOCAL CHARACTER:
Nipomo is located at the southwestern portion of San Luis Obispo County which has a mixture of urban and agricultural areas. Primary crops consist of mostly wine grapes, lemon and avocado trees and some mixed vegetable row crops.
DESCRIPTION OF STATION SITE:
Located on a well established turf area between a green and fairway of the Monarch Golf Course, which is sprinkler irrigated and maintained by the golf course staff.
