LOCAL CHARACTER: Largely agricultural with new housing increasing in the West. Principle agricultural activities include all grapes, all types of tomatoes, all types of cherries and almond meats.
DESCRIPTION OF STATION SITE:
The station is located on the agricultural facility of Delta College. It is located in a flood-irrigated pasture used primarily to graze sheep. The pasture is maintained by the college staff/students. It is enclosed with a livestock proof fence.
